If you are really way too into two completely different and fairly obscure endeavors - like, say, lettering and drum corps - and those two worlds collide in a completely random place - like a thrift store in outer Chicago - it is an eerie feeling; like the universe is totally screwing with you.

The universe totally screwed with me in the form of this amazing vinyl LP of the venerable (they’re still around and rocking New Jersey, in a senior corps kind of way) Cabs’shows from the 50’s to the 70’s - back in the American Legion/VFW days of senior and junior drum corps. It's also silver foil on pebbled black stock, and just too awesome for words (even if it is a little beat up).
