Biggest Aquarium in the WORLD!

I leave to Vegas tomorrow for another week of work but I leave you with this. This is the biggest aquarium in the world and what you see here is not just one but two whale sharks! huge. I got as many people as I possibly could with this image to give you a scale of how big this really is. If I recall I they also have two 15 foot long sting rays. Either way here are a few facts below and have a great weekend and week everyone :)

The Acrylic is 17 times stronger than glass and it weights a total of 120 tons

This is shot from the sun dial in Atlanta, Georgia its a view point / restaurant. The view up there is amazing as you could see. Unfortunately there was a fog up there and was hard to see and taking an HDR picture with no tripod is pretty hard too sometimes ( like this picture ) any who I like the style that the HDR gives it :)

Week 26 - Hey ya! I'm in Atlanta

Well I'm back from my trip to Atlanta, Georgia. I was there for almost 2 weeks and each day was slower than the other lol jk well either way I was there for work and my trip was coming to an end and i was afraid i was not going to be able to go out and shot. So a day before my last day there instead of going to dinner I decided to go to this restaurant well their view point which is 70 floors up and take some wide angle shots but this is not where I got this from. So after shooting up high I joined some co-workers for dinner and as I was walking back one of the managers told me he had access to the platinum member lounge in the hotel (free food!) and this is where I was able to grab this picture 24 floors up. I took some more so keep coming this whole week I have a lot of images plus I took a trip this weekend where I have even more!

Week 25 - Good Bye Hollywood

Well this is my last week here and I like to refer to it :P Saturday I fly out to Atlanta, GA and will be there for almost 2 weeks, coming back taking a short family vacation and followed by more work traveling till August but this time unlike my other travels I hope I could do some sight seeing but then again thats what I always say lol or some photo opportunities more than anything. But lets see how it goes. This week is nothing but prepping for my trip setting up my work equipment / luggage / and studying where I will be staying and what's around you know gotta be prepared.

Any who I figured since I am leaving this Hollywood city/state I do an appropriate picture with my own edition of Hollywood. spoiler ahead -> ( ~~I went digging through my sky picture folder and found this gem and if it looks realistic before you read this then I did my job correct just like hollywood :P~~ ) any who if you guys have a facebook you might "like" my page

Week 18 - The Circus is back in town

My gf's sister got access to the circus from the owner to take pictures for a school project of her's and she invited me to say to help her out with some pictures. But with my awesome skills this does not look like a person using the camera for the 1st time lol jk either way I helped her take more pictures and let her use my prime and wide lens which let her take shots during the show The on Saturday I went to the TORC show www.toyotaclub.org/ its all Toyota show and just hung out with my friends who I had not seen in a while which is always fun. Ill be posting some of those car pictures soon.

Week 10 - Loww riderr

This was from a car show hosted in South Gate Park it was all old style cars like this one. I was taking pictures of cars and I was approached by one of the guys that works at the shop were they restore them and he asked me to take pictures of their work that they do and I believe this was his friend that was passing by and before I knew it she was posing and I was taking pictures :P any who this picture was almost a disaster I had the flash settings all wrong I had it for Wireless shooting and not in camera mount since I was going to the show with this intention it didn't even occur to me about these settings but the amazingness that I am I was able to restore the bad lighting that I messed up :P

Week 8: Must shavee

I had seen some online ideas for some pictures and I wanted to try it and upon me setting it up I realized it was not possible :( due to the mirror being too small. It was my week of no shaving for no reason really just didnt feel like it. Plus the system at work was down for a whole week and it had to do with the server so I had try to solve it and to add on top of it I had a fever during that week so it made manners worse bad week that was

I been a bit behind on my 52 week project :( but I have been really busy and to top it off I was sick for a whole week but that story should go with another picture. This picture is of my mom and dad celebrating his 50th b-day with some live music. It was a nice party we pretty much got all my dad wanted lol Mariachi, freshly made Tacos and Popusas YUMMY! and having everyone over for a family get together.

So this past weekend I went snowboarding and again I have realized I am out of shape :P I was pretty tired and by the end of the day I forgot to even take a picture of me with my gear or by the snow. Well this picture was on the way back from some of the sweet looking mountains and clouds in the background. I am running a week behind on my picture of the week but its all good, I still been taking them and been busy with work and stuff you know :P

This is a building right outside of the Las Vegas market where I worked while I was at Vegas. Its called the Brain Institute I believe its one of the craziest buildings I ever seen considering there is no straight panels on this building. Im sure the inside is flat but I haven't been.

Sunday night the start of a week in Las Vegas. But before you get jealous :P don't worry I came to Vegas to work :( but whats best to do before working a full week in Vegas than to relax and party to say. This is the top view of The Palms casino the Ghost bar and even though it was a bit cold to be up there during this time of year its a nice view from there. I didn't have my camera so I did the best I can with my cell phone. And this is why I need a good Point and Shot camera. Anyone know of any good ones that might have manual features to it too

Week 2: Cali Winter Days

Wanting to take a picture of the sunset for the whole week I finally got a chance to catch it Saturday evening. Although I did want to travel further up Malibu I left my house late and traffic was up the butt that I just pulled over to the nearest parking lot I could find. The spot was okay and the only nice part were these rocks that were next to the parking lot. Next time I should leave earlier and drive up further north to get some nicer rocks and maybe a sunset with more clouds :) till then enjoy your week everyone.

Week 1: Vegas We meet again

Well I decided to do another 52 week project this year. But this year my goal is to really try lol the first just like my 365 it starts out good and then in the middle I don't know what to shot anymore and I take a picture on Sunday about 8:00pm so no more this year well I hope at least not lol also my goal is that I noticed people would come into my project half way didnt know much about what was going on and stuff, so in the case that something like that does happen I will write everything in a way that if you don't know me you know whats going on and why I say certain things :)

well first week of work and they had me shipped out to Vegas to set up some network connections for an upcoming show in two weeks. This is the outside building where I was working at and we have a showroom at. I automatically knew I wanted to make this an HDR simply because of the amazing clouds that were around that day :) This place is right next to downtown Vegas and right across the street from the outlet mall/stores

Week 37

This is from a music gig that I was asked if I could help taking some pictures for the producer of the show which was a pretty cool night I got some ear plugs from the waitresses because I always forget mine and taking pictures with ear plugs makes thing much easier and better in so many ways!

Then today a friend of my mum's had a 1st communion and I did the shots for her daughters and sons 1st communion which was my first one ever shot I believe I learned some stuff from it but it feels almost the same as doing a wedding or any event that has to take place in a church everyone rushing to get the shot if they allow photographers and as nice as I was to other parents to move when my subject was not in front they would not move when their child left the front and prevented me from taking some shots no respect I tell you :P and as I don't mind to much they could of still done it out of respect I would say

well everyone have a good week and this is my favorite shot so far from what I have post processed from both events I think I have like 500 or more shots from friday and 200 from Sunday but a lot are repeats and half wont pass my evaluation :P lol

Week 17 - Smile Max!

The week was all work and the weekend was all stay at home :( didn't do much this week so I figured on Saturday that I would walk my dog to the park and play with him their since he only has a small grass field in my house (everything else is cement) so as I walked him my dad spotted me and convinced me to take him to the LA River. And boy did he love that place I left him with out a leash and he ran up and down with so much joy! honestly it looked like when you see animals in the wild free with out a care and having so much fun running and playing and yet he did listen and would come back when I would yell his name :D

Despite having to work all weekend, it was a great weekend. Friday night dinner at my favorite Japanese restaurant that I had been wanting to go for a while, and Saturday was our 10th annual celica meet. This picture is actually from the up the hill where the meet was held at. Then Sunday a lil sad to say but happy was Call Of Duty Day lol I bought the game and haven't had real time to play it till today so yup :)

I was pretty impressed to how this picture came out :P I saw it as I was walking by and didn't expect it to come out clear or colorfull as it did. Either day earlier this week I detailed my car and boy oh boy ... I'm in love again with it lol I got my hood restored and my headlights and clayed my car followed by a wax dirt just falls of the car for now :P and the movie "Due Date" is a must see! hilarious too funny from start till end.

when I took this picture I didn't really notice the guy at the bottom left but I think this picture is amazing not because I took it but because just look at the mere size of this thing! look how big the mountains look next to a person and this is just a small one. The colors in the rocks were not added by me either. Its the minerals in the rocks that have oxidized over several years that have created these colors over time. This is Death Valley next to artists palette
