A beautiful Magnolia macrophylla flower under the Falcone Flyover at the High Line. It's about a foot across, with leaves probably around two feet long.

There is a lot of milkweed (Asclepias sp.) popping up in the Rail Yards at the High Line. I hope I can go back and look for all the various insects that feed on it.

It's a pun, get it? This little landscape is on the High Line around 18th street. I think this is the aptly named 'Mount Everest' cultivar, with the scapes being at least three feet long.
