Many classic cars were on display at the Towson Town Spring Festival, but this one caught my eye in particular. There was also tons of amazing bands and great food!

Beautiful Þingvellir National Park in Iceland

Alþingi, the Icelandic Parliament was established at Þingvellir in the year 930. This remained the meeting place for Parliament until 1789. Today, Þingvellir is a National Park to preserve this historic site. The day I was there, the rain was coming sideways because of the high winds!

Cherry Blossoms in the Rain at Hiroshima, Japan

When you find Cherry Blossoms blooming in the rain at Shukkeien Garden in Hiroshima, it is a magical experience! Shukkeien Garden is my favorite garden in Hiroshima. It is bit hard to find, but it is amazing and well worth visiting - even on rainy days!

Fall Colors in Washington, DC

The leaves are changing colors and the National Mall in Washington, DC, is full of yellow, orange and red leaves. There are still some trees changing - as you can see framing the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in the background.

Re-enactors camp out for the weekend at Fort McHenry during Defenders' Day. I caught this shot shortly before storms were supposed to roll in, so many of the tents were already taken down. The children still enjoyed a snack under the big tree near the fort though.

Defenders' Day commemorates the 1814 bombardment of Fort McHenry and the writing of The Star-Spangled Banner. At this year's event, there re-enactors, cannon and musket firing, and a historic sailing ship at the pier! I shot this scene with my X100.

Infrared at Baltimore Harbor

The harbor view from Fort McHenry is quite a sight. You can see the Key Bridge, near the location where Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner in 1814. There is a red, white and blue buoy that marks the location near the Key Bridge.

This shot is the infrared version taken with my X100 from Fort McHenry.

American Flag at Defenders' Day at Fort McHenry

During the 1812 Defenders' Day at Fort McHenry, the 1812 United States Flag was lowered, switched, then raised again by fort visitors.
