The amazing Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale) courtyard is built in Venetian Gothic style. It was the main residence of the supreme authority of the Republic of Venice, the Doge of Venice. We enjoyed all of Venice, but this Palace was particularly stunning!

We recently went to the Aquatic Gardens in Washington, DC, and they Lotus Blossoms are in full bloom. There were plenty of waterlilies, cattails and lots of fantastic landscapes too!

We spent the day at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington, DC, today. It is a hidden DC treasure that comes alive with Lotus Blossoms in July/August.

The best place to find Lotus Blossoms in Washington, DC, is the Aquatic Gardens. Along with the Water Lilies, thousands bloom in the summer!
