or is it extreme walking! Today Tasha and I braved the weather and went to Milton Keynes Shopping centre to get the last few bits for Christmas. As you can see everyone else had the same idea. My favourite part of the John inspired video is Tasha's some what calm advice for me to look where I'm going whilst shooting this :)

Well that is the cleaned up version of the events of last night at about 10pm. After having a nice dinner at Tasha's house my phone binged with a text message. Firstly that is very rare not because Im unpopular but because I get no reception at her house. (ok maybe a little unpopular) Anyway upon picking up my phone I saw it was a message from my lovely cousin Sarah (Doow). It said "I assume you don't know it's 7 days tomorrow? ;-) x" I politely replied to the text thanking her so much for the reminder (well kinda politely)!
So the first shot for this run is a recreation of the look I can only assume crossed my face upon reading the text.

Day 6 of 7 Honouring our Olympic Champions

So over the some we had a little competition over here in Blighty where a few sports men and women got together and played a few games......well how far from the truth is that sentence! The Olympics in London in my opinion of course were AMAZING! If one good thing came out of being assaulted at work it was that it happened on the day of the opening ceremony which kinda meant all the time I was signed off work I was glued to the TV. As my friends know all too well, I am NOT a sporty person both in doing or watching, however the Olympics had me hooked. And hey didn't we do well! To celebrate each gold medal won the Royal Mail painted a gold post box in the home town of each winner. So today I am with the post box that symbolises Mr Greg Rutherford's gold medal performance in the long jump, well done him!

I thought it would be rude of me not to have Pawz feature in this weeks fun so today we have the man/kitty himself showing you all how much he loved his treats Santa brought for him. Tasha's Brother Ben and her Dad have a forestry company and today I offered to help them maintain some access roads in the local forest.
To say I used a little more energy that my normal day job would be a slight understatement!

Many thanks to Ben, for giving me the low down on operating and maintaining a chainsaw today and ensuring I perspired half my body weight away.

As you can see my celebration for felling the tree was unwrapped and ready to go. A Galaxy chocolate cake bar super yummy!!

I had this idea for the last run of 7 Days but some how ran out of time to get it in. I grew up less than a mile from Silverstone circuit and have attended on many occasions and even worked there in the past for the Formula One races. I now live 7 miles from the circuit so it still means a great deal to me even if I don't go as much as I would like to. The song in the back ground will mean something to our UK members but probably nothing to anyone else. It is of course Fleetwood Mac and has been used as the theme tune to the BBC's coverage of F1 racing since I can remember. (legal disclaimer I held the iPhone between my knees whilst Tasha steadied it tinamous me to keep both hands on the wheel :) )

Today I have had a bit of a busy one. On Sunday I found a nail on one of my tyres, the only day all the repair centres are closed. Luckily the tyre remained inflated until i got home however this morning it was flat as a pancake so my first job of the day was to get it repaired. Unfortunately everyone else seemed to be at the repair centre so I went to the gym to allow the crowds to disperse. The good news is that the tyre is now repaired and I am slightly more tired (see what I did there) than when I arrived at the gym.

Todays shot is one I have had in mind for a while but proved more tricky than I thought. I decided on this shot as although the phone isnt in focus I liked that most of me was so here it is. One reject for today is here.

Man talk about me using a hundred word for what could have been left at "here is me in my phone" :)

Day 2 of 7 St Mary's Church of Easton Neston

Today Tasha and I went for a walk across the fields to find St Mary's Church of Easton Neston and if I am totally honest to sneak a peak as Easton Neston House.
Luckily for me the walk to the church which is open to the public took straight past the front of the big house. It was a lovely walk and we spent quite some time in the grounds of the church reading head stones many of which date back to the 1800's however after doing a bit of googling upon my return home I have managed to find that St Mary's Church is from the late 13th century, so fairly old.
So for you where's wally/waldo (uk/us) fans its now time to find me! (probably best done in original size.) A sneaky snap of Easton Neston House can be found here.

Day 7 of 7 Natasha makes an appearance!

Most will know that Natasha is one of the most camera shy people around, so to feature in one of my 7days entries is a great honour. Today we went to Royal Leamington Spa for an afternoon of shopping and an early dinner. Once again the weather here has been lovely so half way through the beating of my MasterCard we stopped in one of the parks an enjoyed the sun. It has been a great day and my plans for a final pub shot for Mike fell through. So sorry Mike will keep it in mind for the next run :) Once again it's been a fun week an I promise that over the next few days and probably weeks I will be catching up on the comment love! Well I have made it through the week with just my iPhone and boy has it been harder than I expected. I must say I havnt been too happy with any of my contributions so far so hopefully I will get my act together for the summer run. As always I will catch up on the comment love during the week. It's been another fun week, see you all in the summer.

As I returned home today I was met by a very happy Pawz. He has always been a very vocal kitty. I try to notice the different tones he makes and see what type of mood he is in. I think today's was a mixture of "yay your home" mixed with "don't ever do that again or I'll shred the curtains" !

Well as canteen food goes this wasn't too bad. Tonight was roast pork with apparently all the trimmings however in my opinion it's never going to be a good roast pork without the crackling which was missing tonight. Today has been a good day only tomorrow to go before I can return home to the comforts of my own bed and my snuggly kitty.

This is my bedroom window view for the next couple of days whilst I am away training. The weather this week is in complete contast to last week and today it has drizzled most of the day. I like the feel of this shot as think it depicts the dreary day quite well.

Pawz! To say that he is less than thrilled that I will be away for the next few days is a slight understatement. So to make the most of it Pawz curled up on me for a cuddle today after he had eaten his dinner. My Internet seems to be working today but I thought I would see if I can complete the run with iPhone only pics. This is proving a little trickier than expected as holding the iPhone and taking the shot is not the easiest. Nothing like a bit of a challenge though to spice things up. I have found a few apps that may make hings a little easier during the rest of the week. I will now get back to commenting as I am trying to catch up on the last two days.

Caused me to see pound signs! (see what I did there!) To say this round of 7 Days has taken me by surprise and at the worst time ever would be an understatement! My Internet is currently kaput and all this week I am away on a training course. So it will be down to the iPhone for this weeks entries. (also note I'm getting my excuses in early!) I'm sure it will be a fun pack week :)

And so ends another great run of 7days. I have really enjoyed myself this run and appreciate everyones comments.

Like always I have fallen behind on my comments but I will work my way through everyones photos over the next few days.

Thanks to Doow, Lauren and Bethany for the group which brings out the creativity in me and brings us all together quarterly.
