CBS Television Studios recently licensed the use of my 2013 Montana Calendar to be used as set dressing and a prop on the new TV show "NCIS: Red." Parts 1 and 2 of the pilot premiere March 19 and March 26 at 9 PM Eastern, 8 PM Central time on CBS.

Here is an article from "TV Guide" about the new show. If you look through the door in the back office there's a large white document hanging on the bulletin board. That is my calendar. It is opened to January 2013 and this photo here, which I took outside of Big Sandy, Montana:

There may be as many as four or five ropers inside the corral on branding day, and it is not uncommon for ropes to be seen flying everywhere as they are in this photo.

There are just as many cowgirls helping on branding day on the ranches as there are cowboys. The cowgirls, however, seem to favor baseball caps more so than cowboy hats, however.
