I didn't want to sit at home, after the celebration of NY, and decided to walk outside with my camera and my present - Canon 17-40L f/4.0 USM. It is occured to me, when it is nobody to shoot there is no better way than to go for shooting landscapes.
I found crossroads houses on Kronversky avenue very attractive.

P.S.
I don't like the architecture of churches (mostly christian) in Russia. This church is always attracted my attention, - not because of religion, but because it's uncommon architecture for "Church in Russia".

I stayed in Temiz hotel, located in the heart of the Alanya city. The place is very beautiful and it is very easy to find if you get lost walking around the city, as it happened once with me. There is a lot of cosy restaurants and coffee shops. And one more thing I liked the most in the hotel location, it is not far away from Red Tower (Kisil Kule, the symbol of Alanya), old town and the most beautifull beach in Alanya - Cleopatra beach. I was amazed by the diversity of different trees and flowers on the streets. And it is occured that the ficus is a huge tree, - it was discovery for me :), I have never saw such huge ficuses.

I got lost during the walk at the first day in Alanya. I looked for the way back to hotel for about 4 hours. I bought three maps of the city, but it was impossible to find anything on it, threre was too much advertising and too little information about street names. But It was little adventure and very interesting to find something exciting, like Cleopatra beach or turkish flea market.

I found post office also, while roaming the streets, when I got lost. And It was send 15 postcards to my friends, parents and even tour operator :) by me later.

Snowflakes on the lens

It's unbearable weather today - hard snow with strong wind. I have bought tickets to the performance called "Odnajdi..." ("Ones..." eng.) by Derevo theatre and decided to try to take some shots in such awful weather. It was shoot 43 photos and I selected 5 of them wich liked the most.

This one have been shoot by the way back to home. I like this truck headlight flares because of snow on the lens. When I noticed that my camera is in snow i scared a bit and moved a little faster to dry and wear it through at home.

Shooting fillm it's like magic to me. It is costs much but it is very funny. I think digital photographer must try film shooting even ones.
P.S.
Thease spots are not from my camera, they are from photo laboratory. Next time I'll try another one.
