We drove up to Sonoma County to pick up our wine club shipment at Selby Winery on Saturday. The pick up parties are always so much fun! And of course we came home with more than our 4 bottle club shipment!

Sooo Santa was going to wrap Piper up for me when she arrived, but I was so worried when her package didn't show delivered yesterday that when we got her from the mailman today, I forgot about xmas and opened her box. :) The past two months have been crazy with opportunities to bring some special girls home (still a few to introduce), but when a second chance to adopt Piper came up, I knew she was meant to be here!

Thank you SO much Laura! I love her!

I am just over the moon to have this sweet girl join my dolly family! I have been dreaming of having one of Tricia's wonderful customs of my own, and when Etheline showed up in Tricia's stream, I knew she was the right one for me. And she's even more delightful in person! ♥

I've been eyeing the pretty Bolga Baskets at our local market for a while, thinking they might be fun to carry dollies in as well as other things. The baskets are handmade in West Africa. Finally decided which one to get today. The big round market baskets are pretty, but I decided this oval one would probably work better for me. Pudding approves. :)

Sutro Baths and the Cliff House

We went out to Land's End on Saturday afternoon since it was a rare, warm and sunny day, beautiful even on the coast (it's usually quite cool and foggy in the summer here). We hiked from the new Land's End Lookout (forgot to photograph the new building!) to the Eagles' Point and back, about 3 miles roundtrip with a bit more to hike down to a vista point off the trail and back. After we got back to the start, we walked around at Sutro Baths and over to the Cliff House. Perfect way to spend the afternoon!

We were going to eat oysters at the Cliff House, but it was an hour wait for the Bistro Cafe so we went home and ordered sushi instead!
