Restaurant mainly serving noodles and dishes from Shanghainese cusine. Smoked egg, stewed meatball, steamed xiao long bao, noodles with pork and spring onions. yum!
(p.s. I made it through the first month of P365 without stopping! yay!)

18/01 - taken at elements mall, kowloon. sort of cheating here - 4 photos into 1! sorry, poor quality - taken with my p&s, bad lighting, hand shaking (too desperate the eat the subject)

i was like OMG La Maison du Chocolat opened in hk!!! went there today, tried a few things;
- chocolate eclair; ahh the pastry cream was SO good. rich, cream, and really chocolatey...i can just eat the pastry cream alone!
- macarons; framboise chocolat & cafe chocolat. crispy shells but ever so slightly chewy inside, chocolate ganache fillings for both.
- truffles; cognac & plain. rich ganache encased in a very thin chocolate coating and dusted with cocoa - the ganache was very smooth, it almost glides down your throat. alchohol not too ovevwheming so i like.

sooo i am really satisfied today :) and i hope more Parisian patiseries will open in hk, like Pierre Herme, Fauchon, Laduree...i really wanna try all those fantastic pastries!

After a whole afternoon of shopping for new clothes, new year products and dinner, we went for a walk at the new year market. The flowers sold this year are not that pretty, probably due to the recent bad weather. not many cute/cool/creative merchandise this year either...

12/01 - taken at grand century place, outside haagen daaz
so i got this sudden craving for haagen daaz during biology, so i went for ice cream with yinny afterschool. their strawberry cheesecake icecream is the best EVER. they have this new flavour too, chocolate hazelnut brittle which tastes pretty good too.

lunch with math teachers! we went to nomads, a mongolian style eat-all-you-can restaurant where you get to make your own noodles and pizza with the large variety of meat, veg and sauces.
