North of Iran, Caspian region, Gilan Province, Lahijan city:
Planting rice is a real hard work that traditionally only the poor women should do that in north of Iran.
The poor women should walk on their bare feet in that watery soil to transplant those small stems in the mud while the leech worms bit their feet most often.
Although the rice price is high here but unfortunately our rice farmers are the poorest farmers!
Rice is our main food in Iran.

I was fortunate to visit a private sculpture collection in Mr. Vaziri's house!
Mr. Vaziri is a famous Iranian sculpturist that his works can be found in most of Iranian parks and in center of many squares in different Iranian cities.
He is 62 years old and very creative in his art.
There is no limit on the materials he has used on his sculptures. Metal, stone, cement, wood, fiberglass or anything!
here in my picture you see one of his works that it really amazed me. as you see he has used the metallic junk parts for creating this masterpiece.
I have included a small portrait of him above my picture.

I had a one day trip to visit our Central Desert (Kavir) and the Namak Lake (Salt lake) that is 4 hours drive far from my place Tehran. Kavir and the Salt Lake is so interesting place to visit.
The salt depth vary from 5 to 50 meters from its border to the center!

Here I'm going to explain about a narrow view of life in my country Iran.
Particularly in the cold seasons that the agricultural or tillage activities are vacated in the rural regions, most of the villager girls do fill their free times by weaving rugs or carpets to collect a little money or to help their family economy!
Usually each from those young girls also makes a few additional rugs for her own to use it in her future home or to cover the rooms of her future husband house. Not hard to guess that those rugs should be real quality rugs. Every once in a while, because of the economical reasons, few of those quality rugs come to the market and the specialist recognize them very well. They pay even five to ten times more for such rugs because they are the best quality rugs with amazing beautiful colors and shape. Each of those particular rugs is precious because you easily can see how the poor girl has added her full love and hope on each knot that she has made!

I added the James Bond portrait to the old car picture. Also there was too much crowd around the car in the old cars exhibition so the oval fancy frame could hide the existing crowded surrounding!
(The 2D flat James Bond portrait has been converted to 3D before adding it on the car picture)

While ago I took series of pictures from some old cars that i found in an old car exhibition in Tehran.
one of them was like those cars I had seen in the Gangster movies so i decided to add some extra elements to make it looks like a real Gangster's car :-)

I cropped the car stereo tightly to add more scary mood to the scene then added few gangsters elements like guns, bullet holes, gangster shoe and a gangster portrait on my picture!
Except the bullet holes, you can find the original raw pictures from every element that i used in my picture, on the link below;

As you see my added items have been flat 2D pictures so I converted each of them to 3D before applying them on my picture!
Does anyone of you knows about the model and year of this classic car?

I made this composite from 3 different pictures that i took from the old man. This mirror like effect has been called as "Droste effect"
(You may remember the package picture of the Droste Cacao otherwise search the web images to see what Droste cacao package looks like please.)
There was no mirror on the background wall.
