Too hot to go out during the day, so took Karen for a drive down to Lake Clifton and the Thrombalites for her second excursion into night photography.

Lovely light this evening. Painted the pier a little with torches to create this one, this was around an hour after sunset. Hope you like it.

Been wanting to do something at this site for a while, so on my way to the Cottesloe Sculpture By The Sea last night, I managed to capture this.
I was going to try to adjust the colour casts of various street, car and torch lights, but thought I'd desperate it first. Like it so left it like this.

Bit blown out on the spin, but had to open wide enough to capture the stars because of the full moon..... Still great fun though.

I went out to shot the dawn this morning..... I was hoping to catch lots of mist and fog like what I see most mornings while driving my bus. Not to be unfortunately. There was a little but not as much as the weather bureau promised :(

Oh well. At least I got this before I went chasing the fog.

Now to thaw out the fingers......

OH... Its in the form of a Triptych for the PIP monthly challenge.
