I posted a long exposure version of this recently, this is pretty much the same shot but taken slightly earlier and without the 10 stop filter. This has been a popular location with some of my Flickr Friends this year, so I thought it was time I paid it a visit. After completely getting the tide timing wrong on my first visit I made sure that this time I went at high tide to capture the tide covering the steps. Despite the calm looking water (thanks to the long B&W 10 stop filter) it was actually blowing a gale on this evening which is only given away by the slight movement in the chain handrail.
