This is one of my favorite shots from Tibet because you can see just how nutty the weather was; dark and stormy to the left, sunny blue skies and marshmallow clouds to the right. Plus, I love reflections. :D

My first look at Mount Everest from a scenic stop along the Friendship Highway. We weren't sure if the range would even be visible, but the clouds were parted just right when we arrived. Sure enough, it only lasted about 10 minutes. What a sight! To see something like this after dreaming about it your whole life.. (Thanks a lot, Discovery & National Geographic!! :)) It takes your breath away.

This week has been really good so far. Extreeeemely busy. Trying to wrap up some projects, get going on new ones (still more with only days to go!)

I did a little more Christmas shopping yesterday, and I'm feeling semi-satisfied, but I'm still missing things for key people. Christmas shopping can be hard, and it doesn't help that I'm in a huge time crunch due to the fact that 99% of the gifts have to make it to a different country/continent in time haha. Aye!

I still can't believe I got another Front Page! =) That's two in one year (the other was my first ever). Pretty cool after 5+ years :D

I went to the Great Wall during the worst possible weather, so all of my photos are much more edited than I'd like... but I have to post them anyway :-) Who knows if/when I'd ever get back there!

Of course it would be cold, wet and miserable the day I finally get to the Great Wall. :P

Fun, nevertheless. We attacked the unrestored bit - me on zero sleep after a night out in Beijing. Well worth it (both!) :D Although it makes me want to come back again to see it sunny. Must be spectacular with all the mountains visible.

On a side note, I was talking to one of my friends in Russian class yesterday, and he was joking how he always wants to say Sí instead of Da in class. When I first landed in Costa Rica, I said Da a couple times instead of Sí haha.. oh boy!
