&lt;p&gt;I finally got to see this beautiful bird pick his head up and show off his colors. We were at the Sea Life Center in Seward, Alaska. We had a fun time and got to hang out with AKDing and Chrisbest (From England)! This picture was featured on KTUU's Superview shot of the day!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;A large duck of Arctic coastal waters, the King Eider is one of North America's most spectacular waterfowl species. I was very excited to see this beauty at the Sea Life Center in Seward. I couldn't get a good side view of him because he had his head tucked the whole time I was there. He only raised his head here when a little girl went up and touched him.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
