A window in Old St Paul's Scottish Episcopal church in Edinburgh. An angel is directing someone who may have some assocaition with railways - Waverley station is just across the road from the church. The current church dates from the 19th century.

A window and bench in the ruined church of St Dunstan-in-the-East in the city of London.

The church has had an unfortunate history. Built around 1100, it was destroyed by the Great Fire of London in 1666. Rebuilt after the fire, Sir Christopher Wren added a tower towards the end of the seventeenth century. Having fallen into disrepair, the church was rebuilt in the early nineteenth century and survived until 1941, when it was gutted during the Blitz. The unrepaired church was turned into a public garden in 1971 and is now a beautiful, calm oasis in the bustle of the City. Wren's tower survived all of this and still stands.
