walking down Cornmill - the building half way down (the pink one you can't see is pink) has a church tower behind it, a devil on the top and amazing gargoyles and I did not do them justice.

View out of the back window at the India Club restaurant (2nd floor) on the Strand - I suspect the building behind is Somerset House, and as well as the stairs there are bridges between buildings and scaffolding
