This odd colored dragonfly caught my eye while I walked by, I had to stop.
First is the bright green colour, then the smoothness in the eyes. The eyes look out of focus until you see the original size that is available. I'm wondering if this is a sign of being young for a dragonfly?

The rain never really stopped through the night.
Woke up to diamond looking droplets all over my new growing daisy plant that probably will not flower because of my late start... but I got drops... and a bug!!!

Technical Stuff
50mm lens reversal on a 90mm Tamron macro lens, both attached to a Canon 40D.
430EX flash with a light chute attached to provide light in front of lens.
f/32 ~ 1/60 ~ ISO/100 ~ Flash @ 3/4
(hand-held for pure adrenaline excitement)

It's always nice to visit the falls and practice some good old long exposure shots using the double polarizing filter technique.

I've written a few times already, but this is a fun tip for those that haven't read my earlier shot descriptions.
Circular Polarizing filter (attach first) + Linear Polarizing filter (attach second)
together.
Dial the outer filter to cause a blackout, then ease back a bit to allow a little light through, but still block lots from coming in.
The correct filter for daytime long exposure shots are Neutral Density "ND" filters and come with a nice price tag with them. For the pro, it's the solution, but for the hobbyist it's a much cheaper solution.

Hope you give it a try if you haven't. Circular Polarizing filter is expensive, but if you have one, a linear is not expensive at all.

Most would think bread is okay for ducks, but it's not. A nice seed selection is best and even pellet rabbit food is a real treat on a cold Canadian winter day.

Recently due to an injury, I was prescribed something to ease the pain, and that is exactly what it does. No complaints at all seeing that I normally just deal with most aches and pains without medication.
