Rainy day weekend brought lots of tiny wet flower shots, here's one.
Fully open, these are the size of a U.S. penny.

The last bit of colour before the colder nights settle in and our balcony collection turns brown.

I certainly hope everyone had a great weekend and looking forward to a perfect week to follow it up with.

The rain never really stopped through the night.
Woke up to diamond looking droplets all over my new growing daisy plant that probably will not flower because of my late start... but I got drops... and a bug!!!

Technical Stuff
50mm lens reversal on a 90mm Tamron macro lens, both attached to a Canon 40D.
430EX flash with a light chute attached to provide light in front of lens.
f/32 ~ 1/60 ~ ISO/100 ~ Flash @ 3/4
(hand-held for pure adrenaline excitement)

The day before yesterday, it rained.

Although totally submersed in 3D for the past week, I still take my camera along on my mini breaks. I snagged this one while avoiding lens splatter from nearby drops falling, and these drops are on a tiny beginning of a daisy plant, about 2 inches tall with a couple of small branches. The colour is the balcony pot, maybe called Terra, not sure.

I'm a day off and thought it was Sunday this morning..... Whew, gained a day I never new I had. hAVE A GREAT sATURDAY, AND TRY NOT TO TYPE WITH YOUR cAP lOCKS ON LIKE i JUST DID....

The summer has gone by entirely to fast, and folks up here in Canada are asking if it ever arrived.
The leaves are turning colours, but not as usual. A rapid brown and dropping.
A sure sign that my cave awaits me for winter hibernation.
