The owls of Canada Cove have built a nest which is proving difficult to photograph. I believe this to be the usually shy female and was lucky to get this shot. She does have a bad eye.

Of the 2 owls that make their home in the eucalyptus grove just a block from my house, this one is the larger with a higher pitched call indicating that this should be the female. In Canada Cove, Half Moon Bay, CA

The sand is illuminated by yellow street lights, the Atlantic Ocean by the full moon, a charter fishing boat leaving for the night cruise provided running lights, a fisherman on the jetty lit himself up and there are also 2 marker lights out there at the end. Taken at Manasquan Inlet, NJ. - Try the full size view.
