Took this shot one morning when everything on this side of the street was pretty much still closed. After I took the shot the owner came from the corner and gave me the odd look. I also get this when I'm taking photographs of other subjects like bikes, the floor or anything from a low angle which I do quite often nowadays. Another advantage of a small camera since this is quite hard to do with a big camera even with live view. Unless of course you lie on the ground :). Do you get this looks as well from strangers?

Anyway, I did some sliding to match the out of camera JPGs of the E-P1 but for this one I adjusted a little more. The JPG output straight out of the camera is in the comments. I think it's pretty close. HSS!

It's been wet again but I don't mind. It totally changes the mood for my shots. Today isn't a good day for me, a series of bad news.

First, I got an email I am banned from the bench lovers group. Second, we learned my daughter didn't get accepted to the Catholic school we applied for and lastly, the word from Olympus Japan is that the E-M5 Silver is delayed!

I can go on with more info about the above but I won't bore you with that. I'm hoping for better days ahead. I need a whole lot of shutter therapy!!!

Don't know what title to use for this one. I can't think properly due to the hockey game. Taken at Kita no Donburi at Seymour, Downtown Vancouver.

~~Title, anyone?~~ Named it Setting for now. That was the filename and I think I named it that initially but I ended up not liking it during posting. If you guys suggest a better one I'll update it.

Thank you for your feedback about the last post. A lot liked the colored one but it is very interesting to know what you think about BW too. Gives me a lot of insight and helps me grow as a photographer for sure.

+1 again in the comments. I saw this yellow sign the other day and it's interesting what's written on it. The more you give thanks the more you shall receive.... What are you thankful for? Leave your answer in the comments if you're interested. It doesn't have to be the ones listed in the sign.

+1 in the comments again. I captured some rain drops today. It's wet but I don't mind because it's not that cold anymore. On a different note, I've been seeing in black and white lately and I got a good response from quite a few of you regarding my most recent blog post which is mostly in B+W. And since you helped a bit in my last post (squirrel's point of view vs beachkeh) I'd like to do it again and gather your input. Colored vs BW, which one do you like better?

And thank you for helping out and participating in my previous post.

Taken at the Burrard Sky Train station before the long weekend. There were a lot of people taking photos of the blossoms and I can only imagine the flock during the weekend.

Benches out of Trees Organic which was empty except for that blurred figure in the 3rd table. I cannot remember if there was a person sitting. The 45mm did a great job in blurring the bg. This was taken just a couple of weeks ago when it was still cold. This weekend it felt like spring weather, finally some warmth. Yeehaw!

But I don't have one, haha. I'm planning to get one so I can go biking with my daughter. I'm surprised to find out there's so many types now, road, mountain, hybrid and the hybrid has many different types too.

I was testing the bokeh on the M.Zuiko 12mm f/2 when we went to the sea wall at Stanley Park over the weekened and here are a couple of the results. ~~I decided to go with the beach as main although I like the squirrel's point of view as well.~~ Can't decide but to be more fun can you please vote :D.
