A good day at work in the city but now back in beautiful Milford, of course its dark when I leave home and dark when I get home each day now so I dont get to see beautiful views like this during the week

This was at sunset on the weekend, I find it so calming going there

Went for a little stroll across the bridge last night as the sun was setting, took some of the usual shots but also tried to get some new perspectives and shots, this being one of them

Have a few things to do today but trying to think of ideas of somewhere around here or something interesting to get some shots of

I osted a shot of this building that I walk past each morning in the way to the train, this shows the Mural on it, which it seems like there going to save as they have taken down a lot of the covering on other parts of the building but not here, the Mural is if I remember correctly of old times Walnut Beach

Popped out for a little while to watch and get some shots of the local Veterans Day Parade, was a good turnout and a nice parade, and as I got there early I walked around and got some shots, including this one

I posted a couple of shots of the Historic buildings near where I live in Milford, those that have followed me for a while will know I also like looking for interesting details of things and I found this portion of one of the buildings quite interesting

This is another of the Local Restaurants in Milford, called Indigo by the water, for some reason I always think of it as Indigo blue and have no idea why but thats why I did it with blueish tones

I had hoped to post a shot of tonights mooin which was beautiful tonight as I saw it from the train, and I took a couple of quick shots when ff the train, but all I did was confirm I am useless at shots of the moon LOL

This used to be a Local hardware Store, which cloded a few years back apparently and is going to be converted into a restaurant, as I walked past it tonight i saw the fornt half being knocked down, I was sad to see the Mural gome, but then read online the new Owners claim they tried to save all the could but the fornt half was to worn down to repair, but they will hwever work with a local art group to have a Mural painted in the new Restuarant

Another shot of this beautiful area in Milford the duck Pond and falls, Living in this beautiful area with my sweet Wife Lulu, surrounded by good friends, having the kids and grandkids visiting this weekend are just a few of the many things I am thankful for as we head into Thanksgiving weekend

Wishing all my Friends a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
Also give a thought to all those serving for their countries or for the UN as many of my colleagues in Countries so many people who never consider visiting and unable to be with their families and loved ones for so much of the year let alone thanksgiving a time for Family and friends

The Cafe Atlantique in Milford, with its wonderful owner and staff along with great food and free Wifi was a great place for people without power in the area to go and recharge their devices catch up online and refresh themselves with the fine food and drinks

This is a local Restaurant here in Milford, and I took this shot just a little while ago to highlight the good things I am seeing after the damage done by Sandy.

Over the last couple of days I have seen so many businesses open there doors for those without power or houses, wheether it be to charge there electronic devices, have hot showers etc

Rainbow Gardens has opened its doors for free food for people without power, Last evening I believe and this morning, I just heard about it this morning so popped to get a shot of the place.
they were also giving out boxes of coffee for voluneteers to take to those people working to try and clean up there porpertys

Its good to notice the good in the world, to often the news focuses on the bad

Just went for a stroll around after lunch and walked past these historic buildings which reminded me I had this shot to share

On the walk I also walked past the train tracks and saw a work engine thingy going along the tracks, I guess thats a good sign that service being restored is getting closer

I have all the respect in the world for all the emergency responders, first responders and electrical crews out there now helping people and trying to restore power to those without

Have a few more shots to process, but going for another stroll first while its still plenty of light
