One of the jumpers at night in the Grand Palais . Took me a while to find the right settings for this combination of panning and flash. Just freezing the action was completely boring, and the lights in the back were too amazing to miss so I needed the panning to create the texture. The panning in itself was quite tricky because it's both horizontal and vertical...

This one was a bit stressful because it's the only time they did it with 2 skaters at the same time, so I really wanted to nail it !

This one is not as sharp as I would have wanted, but it's the only one with the skater across the lights. They normally jumped too high and I had nowhere to climb to get a higher angle, so I I actually did this panning without looking, with the camera raised at arms' length. Probably explains the blur ;-)
