The cemetery gates at the Moravian Cemetery in Hope, New Jersey. This location was featured in the movie "Friday the 13th". The road in front is where Enos lets Annie out to walk the rest of the way to Camp Crystal Lake.

It is also the Church Lizzie Borden and her family attended.

The Church dates back almost 140 years.

Seen in Fall River Massachusetts this is the USS Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. (DD-850). She is a United States Navy Gearing-class destroyer. The ship was named after Lieutenant Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., a naval aviator, son of the former Ambassador to Britain, Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., and older brother of future President John F. Kennedy. Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. would serve, with interruptions for modernization, until 1973. Among the highlights of her service are the blockade of Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the afloat recovery teams for Gemini 6 and Gemini 7. Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. is presently on display as a museum ship in Battleship Cove, Fall River, Massachusetts.

Edison Tower

This is just a quick "grab shot" taken with my point and shoot Elph. I wasn't planning on a photo outing and just happened to find myself in this neighborhood.

The Thomas Edison Memorial Tower and Menlo Park Museum was built in 1937 to mark the "Birthplace of Recorded Sound" in the Menlo Park section of what is now the town of Edison. The World's Largest Light Bulb is thirteen feet tall, weighs eight tons, and is illuminated at night. The tower marks the spot where Edison invented the light bulb.

There's an effort underway to restore it and expand the museum.

The light bulb tower is currently fenced off, but renovation is underway. It's scheduled to reopen in 2013.
