My last wedding clients were an adorable Chinese couple that came to Portugal to get married. It was such an honor to be part of this celebration and learn more about cultural differences. I wish them both one hundred years of happiness and togetherness!

This moment was just absolutely gorgeous. We arrived at the beach and the seagulls were all on the sand. Cents of them. The first thought was walking really slow to not disturb but the couple almost instinctively stretched their arms open wide and started running towards the birds. Running fast very fast. I just stayed where I was and watched that moment unfold behind my lens as if that run represented the next life flight they had just taken and I could feel all the excitement and the enormous privilege of witnessing that moment.

Rainy days can be so much fun when bride and the groom decide to enjoy the adversities of the weather. If you are a bride getting married in the winter time, think that 40 years from now you will enjoy images such as this one and if you decide to stay inside just because you fear getting your dress all dirty, you will later, most probably, regret that decision. So, get outside and let your photographer run after images that will make you and your grandchildren smile. It's your wedding day write your story and make it memorable.

Most photographers I talk with about wedding photography, do not like to shoot guests while they are seating at tables waiting to be served. But if you give the issue a second thought, that is the time when you get them seated and ready for a portrait :) and that's exactly what happened here. I often called this period "table dance" time.
