Final approach and touchdown of the vulcan coming in to land. Used a bit of grad filter on the sky as it was completely gray the day this was shot, it just brings everything else out very nicely.

A lovely shot of the worlds last flying V Bomber, what I love about this shot, that the exhaust fumes looks a bit like a love heart. We all love the Vulcan.

This was just doing a second circuit after a tremendous takeoff. He left the undercarriage down on this on.

This shot originally had a fence on it, but it ruined the image, so I used the clone stamp tool in Photoshop Elements 11, and also the blur tool to get rid of the fence, I think the overall finished product looks rather good :-)

I have a complete blank as to what title to give this one. (Alterrnative title suggested by Stu. I like it.)
The end to a rainy, windy, chilly day and too much time spent on my laptop. It was fun, though.
These lovely little flowers grow in my garden, I do not know the name.
Textures used are from kim klassen and Lenabem-Anna and my thanks to them for their generosity.

Our Ladys Chapel - Rotherham (Small Panoramic)

A very old building stands on the bridge that was once the main road into old Rotherham town. Was used as a chapel, also prison and in it's life has also been a tobacconist and dwelling. It's not open very often these days, so grabbed this image while I could.

After taking this shot I realised that the stained glass window was out of focus, so using photoshop elements, I took the window from another shot I had done. Resized, reshaped, and enhanced it on to this image, using the layers and eraser function, and I have to say I am very very pleased with the overall finish.

Rotherham's Chapel on the Bridge is one of only four surviving medieval bridge chapels in the country. It was the town gaol between 1777 and 1826 - and we still have the original cell doors with graffiti carved by the prisoners.

The chapel was expertly restored in the 1920's. A new stained glass window was installed in 1975, charting the history of the building.

La vue la plus connue de ce quartier Starsbourgeois. J'ai transformée la photo en image de bande dessinée grace au logiciels Fotosketcher (avec lequel j'ai fait un dessin blanc et noir et un dessin avec des couleurs réduits et des lignes) et Photoshop (où j'ai collé ces images comme des couches).

Plus grand sur fond noir / view greater on black.

P.P.: Lightroom 3.6, Fotosketcher 2.42 (creating a linedrawing and a cartoonlike drawing), Photoshop Elements 7 (using the drawings as layers in the multiply mode).
