Calella de Palafrugell is one of three coastal towns belonging to the municipality of Palafrugell, province of Girona, Catalonia, the other two being Llafranc and Tamariu. It is part of the Costa Brava, the coastal region of northeastern Catalonia, in the comarca of Baix Empordà. Calella de Palafrugell is a small holiday resort and fishing village near Palafrugell and a short distance along the coast from Llafranc. It should not be confused with the larger, more commercialised resort of Calella, which is further south towards Barcelona, in the comarca of Maresme.

Montseny Natural Park is a natural park that protects part of the Montseny massif. It was established in 1977 and is managed by the Barcelona Provincial Council since 1977 and the Council of Girona since 1978. Also since 1978 is a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. It was established as a national park in 1987. It covers part of the municipal Aiguafreda El Brull, Campins and Cànoves Samalús, Figaro-Montmany, hotbed of Montclús, La Garriga Gualba Montseny Palautordera St. Stephen, St. Peter Vilamajor Seva Tagamanent Arbúcies Breda , Rails Montseny, Sant Feliu de Buixalleu and Viladrau. The top of the park is the Turó de l'Home 1706.7 meters.

Minorca or Menorca (Catalan: Menorca [məˈnɔrkə]; Spanish: Menorca [meˈnorka]; from Latin: Insula Minor, later Minorica "minor island") is one of the Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea belonging to Spain. It takes its name from being smaller than the nearby island of Majorca.
Minorca has a population of approximately 94,383 (2010). It is located 39°47' to 40°00'N, 3°52' to 4°24'E. Its highest point, called El Toro or Monte Toro, is 358 m/1,174 ft above sea level.
